Shaping a Greener Future: Our Commitment to Sustainable Shrink Film
With many years’ experience supplying films to our customers we have always been mindful of the need to supply packaging responsibly; following the mantra reduce, reuse, recycle. Our shrink wrap films are fully recyclable and where possible contain a minimum of 30% post-consumer waste. If food safe contact is required, we can offer fully recyclable virgin films or polyolefin films with recycled content, whilst still being fully recyclable. For bagging only applications we can supply a variety of paper, degradable or home compostable films and for e-commerce we encourage the reuse of the bag for returns. With a wealth of resources, we help our customers make the right decision for a more sustainable future.
Shrink Wrap Film Types
Polythene films – Transit Packaging & Collation
Using the latest extrusion technology, we offer both mono and coextruded shrink wrap films. All are available with at least 30% post-consumer plastic waste, all fully recyclable. Films can be clear or coloured, plain or printed and are available as food contact safe.
Our comprehensive range caters for applications from standard collation shrink packs to coextruded coloured films for the mailing and on-line distribution market.
Polyolefin Films – Display packaging
Using multi-layer and cross-linking technology, our Exlfilmplus™ is one of the toughest and most versatile display shrink wrap films on the market. Our films have an inherently greater window of seal and shrink performance at a broader range of temperatures. Our stocked range also includes our QSL “quick shrink” film with low shrink force and our standard FP26, ideal for high-speed applications. FP26 also includes 30% recycled content. Additional speciality grades are available. All the Exlfilm® range is food contact safe and fully recyclable. Exlfilm® has also been certified ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification).
Our range also includes our QSL quick shrinkwrapping film with low shrink force and our standard FP26, ideal for high speed applications. Films are available from 11 microns.
Stretch Wrap Films – Transit Packaging
Our stretch wrap film offers very high puncture resistance and excellent clarity. We can supply stretch wrap film for both hand and machine application – to accompany our range of pallet wrapping machinery. Our conversion facility also enables us to supply narrow width film for our range of spiral wrappers.
BOPP Polypropylene – Food & Display Packaging
Our range of polypropylene films are mainly used for flowrapping applications. Our films are food contact safe and are available in bespoke sizes to suit our customers’ requirements. Quick deliveries are available due to our ability to slit film from master reels. Printed films are also available.
